MR. WRIGHT DURHAM BURNAM, age 89, of Macon, GA, passed away on Wednesday June 26, 2024, at Pine Point Hospice in Macon, GA.

MR. WRIGHT DURHAM BURNAM, age 89, of Macon, GA, passed away on Wednesday June 26, 2024, at Pine Point Hospice in Macon, GA.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Monday, July 1, 2024, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Charles Burnham officiating, followed by interment in Old Fair Haven Cemetery, in Eastman, GA.

 Mr. Burnam was born in Rhine, GA and of the Baptist faith. After he left school, he worked on the family farm before going to work at Armstrong Cork Company in Macon, GA, where he manufactured ceiling tiles and retired after 32 years of faithful service. He enjoyed farming, gardening, the outdoors, trips to the beach and mountains, and life in general. He was a simple man that enjoyed life and was a loving son, father, grandfather, and special uncle to his nieces and nephews, as well as being a wonderful friend to all that knew him. He was the son of the late Nettie Harrell Burnam and Joseph S. Burnam and was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Burnam Patton, Son, Dudley Burnam, Stepson, Bobby Harrell, Sisters, Katie Lee Hickman, Mary Dollie Yancey, and Cornelia Burnam, and Brothers, Pete Burnam, Arthur Burnam, Raymond Burnam, and Joe Billy Burnam.

 He is survived by his Daughters – Andrea Burnam Dalton of Macon, GA and Lynn Burnam Young of Lizella, GA; Step-Daughter – Brenda Chormicle of Eastman, GA; 14 Grandchildren – Brandy Jones (Danny), April Chapman (Stuart), Amy Woodard (Darrell), Nicole Cates (Joe), Rachel Burnam, Alicia Burnam, Amanda Gonzalez (Levi), Tony Jones (Summer), Chris Jones (Nicki), Crystal Hanie, Chris Harrell (Melissa), Carl Harrell, Casey Brown (Derek), and Lisa Morris (Bobby); Several Great-Grandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Andrea Burnam Dalton, 4834 Griffin Hills Place, Macon, GA, 31216, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:00AM-11:00AM before services on Monday, July 1.
