Obituary for William Harrell Jr.

WILLIAM RALPH HARRELL, JR., age 48, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

 Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, March 25, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Pastor Dahl McDermitt, Jr. officiating, with interment in Roddy Cemetery.

 William was born in Dublin, of the Baptist Faith, and was raised in the Roddy Community. He attended Dodge County High School and after high school, he worked as an electrician, welder, and construction worker. He worked for several companies over the years and was a highly skilled welder and fabricator. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His most memorable fishing trip was to Alaska in 2001. William also loved music and played guitar and bass since his teen years. He was a beloved son, father, and brother to his family. William was preceded in death by his Mother, Louise Carr Harrell.

 He is survived by his Son – William “Will” Ralph Harrell, III of Eastman; Daughters – Layla Harrell of Eastman and Kayli Dykes of Cochran; Father – William Ralph Harrell, Sr. (Paula) of Hendersonville, NC; Sister – Crystal Atwood (Denver) of Newnan; Several Nieces and Nephews; Aunts and Uncles – Margaret Register (Pete) of Lizella, Sharron C. Bender, Thermon Carr (Barbara) both of Cochran, Carolyn Harrell, and Clifton Russell Carr (Marie), both of Eastman; Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Saturday, March 25.
