MR. WILLIAM BLAINE COLEMAN, age 67, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Dodge County Hospital.

 A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, January 16, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Sherwin Anderson officiating.

 Blaine was born in Macon, GA on May 23, 1957. He and his family moved several times during his early years before settling in Douglas, GA. He later enlisted in the U.S. Army where he worked as a helicopter mechanic. After leaving the military, he worked a few odd jobs before finding a career at Robins AFB. He worked as a C-130 prop mechanic and retired in 2013 after 35 years of dedicated service. While working at the Robins AFB, he formed Coleman Shuttle Bus Service, LLC in 2007, which he owned and operated until 2020. Blaine loved fishing, tinkering and working on cars, and spending time with his dogs. But most of all, he enjoyed all the time he was able to spend with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the son of the late Javene Scarborough Borders and William Robert “W.R.” Coleman and was preceded in death by his Brother, Tim Coleman, and Step-Siblings, Beth Holton and Wendell Wingo.

 He is survived by his Wife – Julie Graham Coleman of Eastman, GA; Daughters – Amanda Bennett (Bud) of Eastman, GA and Joani Scott (True) of Georgia; Son – William Kyle Coleman (Rae) of Cochran, GA; Grandchildren – Dylan Cason, Freya Coleman, and Iris Coleman; Sisters – Debbie Luke (Allen) of St. Augustine, FL and Lynn Coleman of Dublin, GA; Step-Mother – Sue Coleman of Chauncey, GA; Step-Brothers – Avery “Rocky” Wingo (Michelle) of Fitzgerald, GA and Sherwin Anderson (Sheila) of Chauncey, GA; Sister-in-law – Jenny Wingo of Eastman, GA; Several nieces and nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Coleman residence, 2932 Hawkinsville Hwy., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Thursday, January 16.
