MR. WILLIAM FRANKLIN “BILL” HARMON JR, age 63, of St. Augustine, FL, died Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine.

A mass will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church at 10:00AM Tuesday, November 15, 2022, with Father Jude Shayo officiating, followed by a graveside service at Chauncey City Cemetery at 11:30AM.

 Bill was born at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, VA, and was raised in Warner Robins, Ga. He was a 1978 graduate of Warner Robins High School. He later received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Georgia College in 1998. He was employed by BASF as an Industrial Electrician from 1986 until 2010. He was a dedicated husband, and a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling and camping. Bill was the son of the late Toby Chasteen Harmon and LTC Frank Harmon, and was preceded in death by his Son, Senior Airman Stephen Harmon.

He is survived by his Wife – Mary Beth Boley Harmon of St. Augustine, FL; Daughter – Sarah H. Abercrombie (Mat) of Grand Junction, CO; Son – William Joshua Harmon (Khushnum Sauna) of Chicago, IL; 3 Grandchildren – Ryann Abby Abercrombie, Stevie Sauna Harmon, and Stephen “Gray” Abercrombie; 3 Sisters – Nancy Statler of Warner Robins, GA; Laura Taylor of Bonaire, GA, and Mary Persinger (Frank) of Clifton Forge, VA; Brother – Troy “Sam” Harmon of Byron, GA; Mother-in-law – Patricia Boley Ziegler (Ken) of Bonaire, GA, Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 5:00PM-7:000PM Monday, November 14. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chauncey Baptist Church, 27 Bussy Street, Chauncey, GA, 31011.
