MR. WILLIAM ANTHONY “BILL” SCHOENING, age 79, of Warner Robins, GA, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the Navicent Medical Center in Macon.

A memorial visitation will be held 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, May 11, at the Schoening Family Home, 100 Club Court, Warner Robins, GA, 31088. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, May 12, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastman, with Carolyn and Curt Holmes officiating.

 Mr. Schoening was born in Covington, KY, and a graduate of Lawrenceburg High School in Lawrenceburg, IN, and later attended Purdue University. He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Okinawa. In 1981, he graduated from Georgia College in Milledgeville with a degree in Logistics and worked in the logistics field at Heilemen Brewery, Boeing, Lucas Industries, and Trane until his retirement in 2014. As an adult, Mr. Schoening was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather. Bill loved golf, Georgia Bulldogs Football, and was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was the son of the late Julia Wheeler Schoening and William A. Schoening, Sr.

 He is survived by his Wife of 41 years – Kim Jones Schoening of Warner Robins; Son – William Blake Schoening (Ashley) of Bonaire, GA; Daughter – Ashley Schoening Brock (Zach) of Warner Robins; 5 Grandchildren – Lexi Schoening, Taylor Schoening, Peyton Brock, Emery Kate Schoening, and Sutton Schoening; 4 Sisters-in-law – Julia Roberts of Eastman, Carol Ross (A.L.) of Griffin, Neysa Ragan of Eastman, and Lynda Bagwell (Ed) of Douglas; Several Nieces and Nephews including, Richard Williams of New Albany, IN.
