MRS. WANDA JOANN ROLAND ALLEN, age 69, of Dublin, GA, died Saturday, June 18, 2022, at her residence.

 A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00AM Monday, June 20, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Mr. Gary Ryals officiating.

 Mrs. Allen was born in Eastman in 1953 and attended DHCS. She was of the Baptist faith. Wanda was a homemaker, CNA, and worked at Peanut Factory, Shirt Factory. She was a former waitress at several Huddle Houses and Ma Hawkins in Dublin, and Mema’s Truck Stop. She was a former Team Leader at Hanger’s Cleaner’s in Dublin, Inspector at Husqvarna in McRae for over 4 years. Wanda was a dedicated wife and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, fishing, cross-stitch, and listening to country music on The River. She was the daughter of the late Rosie Mae Hendrix Roland and Marvin Roland; and preceded in death by a Son, Edward Burch; 2 Sisters, Melinda Roland McCrainie and Shirley Roland Amerson and Brother, Roy Roland.  

 She is survived by her Husband of 11 years – Donald “Donnie” Allen of Dublin; 3 Daughters – Tina Umbao (John) of Dublin, Dusty Conley of Riceville, TN, and Mindy Roland (Andy) of Eastman; Son – J. Daniel “Danny” Barber (Kelly Dominiak) of Riceville, TN; 15 Grandchildren – Melinda Burch, Tracey Barber, Robert Barber, Malan Barber, Lacey Barber, Zoey Barber, Levi Barber, Madison Stouder, Drake Dominiak, John Danielle Umbao, Lee Allen Umbao, April Beck, Justin Beck, Colby Chapman, and Caleb Chapman; 3 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Sisters – Janie Dykes of McRae, Joyce Taylor (George) of Gordon, GA, and Elaine Clark (Donald) of Alamo; Sister-In-Law – June Young of Minter, GA; Brother-In-Law – Chuck J. McCrainie of Chester; Best Friends – Robin Perkins of Warner Robins and Betty Stonecypher (Fred) of Cadwell; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Allen residence, 880 Rocky Spring Drive, Dublin, GA, 31021, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:00AM-11:00AM Monday, June 20.
