MR. WALTER FRANCIS MULLIS, age 77, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin.
MR. WALTER FRANCIS MULLIS, age 77, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, May 28, 2020, at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, May 31, at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Myron Parkerson and Rev. Tim Hicks officiating.
Walter was born in Plainfield, graduated from Dodge County High School, and was a member of Freedom Worship Center in Eastman. He was a retired Facility Manager at Robins Air Force Base where he worked for 34 years. He was a dedicated Husband, Father and Grandfather, always happy, fun loving and full of life. He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Georgia Bulldogs football. Walter was the son of the late Eudell Peacock Mullis and William Henry Mullis and was preceded in death by his Wife of 38 years, Patricia Jones Mullis, Daughter, Sherry Parkerson, and Brother, Dudley Mullis.
He is survived by his Wife – Patricia “Pat” B. Mullis of Eastman; Daughter – Celeste Doss (Mark) of Eastman; Son – Chad Mullis of Warner Robins; Son-in-law – Myron Parkerson (Kim) of Eastman; 5 Grandchildren – Alex Denham, Aiden Doss, Matt Parkerson (Joni), Cody Parkerson (Hannah), and Ethan Parkerson; Great-Grandchildren – Pierce Parkerson, Johnna Parkerson, Elsie Parkerson, and Brooks Parkerson; Sister – Polly Owens of Eastman; Brother – Jessie Mullis of Eastman; Several Nieces and Nephews.
