MRS. VIVIAN PITTMAN TAYLOR, age 74, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at her residence.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, May 27, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Mr. Rayford Spires officiating.

 Vivian was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Greenlawn Baptist Church, and attended Dodge County High School. After high school, she went to work for C & J Manufacturing for several years before going to work with Roper, Inc. in McRae for over 20 years as a shipping department manager. In 1994, her son started Dempsey Electric, which she was the manager of for over 15 years. She was a dedicated and loving wife of 58 years, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Vivian enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, and loved fishing, camping, and trips to Cherokee, NC. She was the daughter of the late Rachel Lowery Pittman and W.A. “Alfred” Pittman.

 She is survived by her Husband of 58 years – Jack Taylor, Sr. of Eastman; Daughter – Amy Taylor Rakes of Eastman; Son – Jack Taylor, Jr. (Angela) of Eastman; 8 Grandchildren – Corey Rakes (Jesse), Blake Rakes (Ashley), Scotty White (Halei), Cameron Taylor (Suzannah), Rachel Taylor (Leonard Floyd), Kayla Purvis (Conner), Kent Barker (Katelyn), and Summer Barker; 12 Great-Grandchildren – Thatcher Rakes, Alaric Rakes, Tessa, Kailyn White, Waylon White, Carson Taylor, Carter Floyd, Aden Floyd, Bryson Floyd, Sadie Purvis, Adaline Purvis, and Anastasia Barker; 4 Sisters – Emma Jean Spires (Rayford) of Haynesville; Gail Willis (Don) of McDonough, Linda Carnes Webster (Chuck) of Warner Robins, and Cindy Hilliard (Scotty) of Eastman; Brother – Bill Pittman (Wanda) of Eastman; Sisters-in-law – Faye Greene (Bailey), Shirley Sheffield (Charles), and Dianne Roland (Dudley), all of Eastman; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
