MRS. VERNA LEE “PATSY” BURCH ROZIER, age 92, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, December 3, in Southerland Funeral Chapel with interment in Old Fair Haven Cemetery, with Rev. Roswell Chapman officiating. 

Mrs. Patsy was born and raised in Rhine, a member of Sand Grove Baptist Church, and a former seamstress for over 20 years with C & J Manufacturing. She was also a former CNA at Middle Georgia Nursing Home for many years. Patsy was a strong willed and hardworking woman who loved dancing, cooking, spending time with her family, and she loved watching wrestling, especially Bob Armstrong. She was the daughter of the late Willie Mae Reeves Burch and Allie Otis Burch and was preceded in death by 2 Husbands, Herbert Burnham, and Clinton Rozier, 4 Children, Ella Mae Burnham Glass, Joyce Burnham Spires, Phillip Burnham, and Paul “Bozo” Burnham, 3 Grandchildren, Gerald Spires, Angie Owens, and Clint White, and 4 Siblings, Buddy Burch, Shorty Burch, Gene Burch, and Irene Dykes. 

She is survived by 4 Grandchildren – VeLisa White Pugh (Russell), Eric Burnham (Patience), Dawn Powell (Shawn), and Mike White (Rachel), all of Eastman; Several Great-Grandchildren – Jared Owens, Kortney Boyett (Corey), Joseph Mullis, Callie Spires (Brent), Dillon Spires (Hope), Justin Spires, Erica Howell (Kyle), Niki Braswell (Cody), Phillip Powell, Sydney Powell, Emily White, Jacob White, and Micah White; 2 Step-Daughters – Linda Maddox of Cary and Christy Stone of Warner Robins; Several Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, and Numerous Cousins and Friends. 

The family will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 10:00AM-11:00AM Friday, December 3.
