Tommy William Ragan, born February 13, 1956, to the late Milton and Mildred (McCranie) Ragan in Eastman, Georgia, passed away on July 5, 2025. Tommy was a fun-loving soul who lived life to the fullest, always surrounded by a wide circle of friends who cherished his infectious spirit.

Tommy proudly served in the Air Force from 1975 to 1994, retiring as a Technical Sergeant (TSgt), before dedicating himself to supporting veterans through his work with the Department of Veterans Affairs until 2016. In retirement, he settled in Palm Springs, California, where he soaked up the sun and the joy of good company. A passionate researcher, Tommy devoted much of his time to exploring family history and genealogy, meticulously uncovering and preserving ancestral stories that connected past and present. His friends, a testament to the many lives he touched, honored him with a memorial service on July 19 in Palm Springs, California.

Tommy’s vibrant energy, warm heart, and love for family history will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the laughter, love, and stories he shared with all who knew him.
