Tammy was born in Clearmont, FL and raised in Plant City, FL. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She was a doting grandmother who loved her grandchildren and her family dearly. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, hummingbirds, and loved rice for the kids. Tammy went out of her way to help others and enjoyed not only taking care of her own children, but all the neighborhood children as well. She was the daughter of the late Thelma Broussard Wood and Ralph Wood.
She is survived by her Favorite Son – Christopher Wood and Holly of Gary, Oklahoma, and the Leftover Children (family joke) – Trina Johnson of Eastman, Brandi Davis and Richard, Lakeland, FL, Michael Shane of Catskill, NY, Melissa “Missy” Wood of Bartow, GA, and Bayley Knight and Austin of Eastman; Step-Daughter – Jessica Hunter and Chris; Grandchildren – Gaven, Kaiden, Gaige, Reese, Stori, Nyne, Logan, Trevin (HER FAVORITE), Blu, D.J., Kayleigh, Mackenzie, Josie, Brandon, and many more; Sister – Donna Wood Lopresti and Sal of Windham, NY; 3 Brothers – Ralph Wood, Jaylin Hall, both of Tampa, FL, and Keith Wood of Eastman; Several Nieces and Nephews.
