MRS. SUSIE MAE SNELLGROVE BRANTLEY, age 91, of Milan, GA, died Monday, September 2, 2019 at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, September 4, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. LaDon Connell and Rev. Ronny Moore officiating, with interment in Sugar Creek Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.

 Mrs. Brantley was born in Telfair County, the oldest member and a faithful member of Sugar Creek Congregational Methodist Church, and a homemaker. She was a former seamstress at C & J Manufacturing for many years, worked as a seamstress for the public for many years, and enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, raising her pet chickens, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was daughter of the late Lucy Mae Moon Snellgrove and James Eudell Snellgrove, widow of Paul H. Brantley, Sr., and was preceded in death by 2 Daughters, Betty Jo Veal and Paula Jean Brantley, 6 Siblings, David Snellgrove, Eschol Snellgrove, Willie Snellgrove, James Snellgrove, Robert Snellgrove, and Dorothy Briley, and a special Sister-in-Law, Lorene Jones Snellgrove.

 Survivors: Daughter – Elizabeth B. Wilson (David) of Rossville, GA; 2 Sons – Paul H. Brantley, Jr. (Lynn) and Ted Brantley both of Chauncey; 12 Grandchildren – Wes Graham, Calan Brantley (Chasity), Ken Wommack, Trent Wilson, Brandie Graham, Robbie Brantley (Danielle), Brad Brantley (Kristie), Delacey Brantley, Trey Brantley (Chelsea), Clay Brantley, Shannon Veal, and Amelia Jo Brantley; 14 Great-Grandchildren – Lyla Brantley, Bridgette Wommack, Logan Wommack, Linsey Graham, Taylor Graham, Trevor Brantley, Jayden Brantley, Harrison Brantley, Joah Brantley, Madi Monk, Madilyn Fountain, Aaliyah Brantley, Al Veal, and Devon Veal; 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren – Louella Mae Wommack and Adrian Wommack; 3 Sisters – Mary Knowles (George) of Warner Robins, Helen White of Jackson, GA, and Hazel Cape of Hawkinsville; 2 Sisters-in-Law – Blanche Robertson and Joyce Whatley; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Brantley residence, 200 Kirkley Rd., Milan, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:00AM-11:00AM Wednesday, September 4.
