MRS. LAURA SUE CONDREY SPEARS, age 61, of Hawkinsville, GA, died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Pinewood Manor Nursing Home in Hawkinsville.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, July 10, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Jack Varnell officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery.

 Laura was a lifelong resident of Hawkinsville and a 1978 graduate of Hawkinsville High School. She worked for over 12 years as a truck driver for Star Gas in Hawkinsville before working for several years at Opa Locka Mill in Hawkinsville. She later went to work as a prison guard for Pulaski State Prison for over 5 years. Sue loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing, camping, visiting with family and friends, and trips to the beach. She was the daughter of the late Ann Hickman Bentley and Ray Thomas Condrey and was preceded in death by her Husband, Greg Spears, and Sister, Wanda Youngblood.

 She is survived by her 2 Daughters – Laura Marie S. Scott (Shane) of Hawkinsville and Elizabeth S. Wright (Dewayne) of Eastman; 6 Grandchildren – Katelyn Elizabeth Hogg, Clay Wright, Morgan Wright Cruz, Allie Wright, D.J. Wright, and Elsie Wright; 3 Great-Grandchildren – Zayn Cruz, Zayde Cruz, and Selena Cruz; Step-Mother – Lois Fordham Condrey of Hawkinsville; 2 Step-Sisters – Desiree Trice of Hawkinsville and Carolyn Bentley of St. Petersburg, FL; 3 Step-Brothers – Johnny Bentley (Carol) of St. Petersburg, FL, Tommy Condrey (Godi) of Metter, and David Trice (Deborah) of Griffin; Mother-in-law – Sara Haley Spears of Hawkinsville; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Sara Spears, 31 Sunnybrook Circle, Hawkinsville, GA 31036, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Saturday, July 10.
