MS. SEABY ELIZABETH JONES, age 86, of Milan, GA, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at her residence.

 A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, October 12, at Milan Baptist Church, with Rev. Aubrey Corbitt officiating.

 Seaby was a lifelong resident of Milan, GA, a member and former Sunday School teacher at Milan Baptist Church, and a graduate of Milan High School, where she was an accomplished basketball player. She later attended Middle Georgia College and graduated with her secretarial associate degree in 1957 and worked for over thirty-five years for the University of Georgia Extension Office in Dodge County. She loved her family and spoiled them greatly and was a loving “Nana” to her special nieces and nephews. Seaby was an avid Georgia Tech Fan and enjoyed watching sports, working in her yard, and gardening. She was the daughter of the late Clara Hamilton Jones and Rufus C. Jones and was preceded in death by her Brothers, Leroy Hamilton, Perry Hamilton, and Jimmy Hamilton, and Niece, Kimberly Hamilton Smith.

 She is survived by her Nephews and Nieces – William David Hamilton (Nicole) of Brunswick, GA, Clara Young of Perry, GA, Marsha Temples of Vidalia, GA, Wanda Stevenson of Anderson, SC, Perry Hamilton Jr. (Becky), Lon Hamilton (Judy), and Roy Hamilton (Deanie), all of McRae, GA; Numerous Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews including – Marli Smith Howell (Danny) of Eastman, GA, Coy Smith, and Mattie Hamilton, both of Brunswick, GA; Numerous Cousins and Friends; Caregiver and Friend – Linda Tobler of McRae, GA.

 The family may be contacted at the Jones residence, 56 2nd Avenue, Milan, GA, and will receive friends in Milan Baptist Church from 10:30AM-11:00AM Thursday, October 12. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Milan Baptist Church Children’s Fund, P.O. Box 157, Milan, GA 31060.
