SARA PEARL EVANS PEACOCK, age 62, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, May 14, 2023, at her residence.

 A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, May 17, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Myron Parkerson and Mr. Randy Horne officiating.

 Sara was born in Eastman, of the Holiness Faith, and attended Dodge County High School. After high school, she moved to Cincinnati, OH and worked as a restaurant manager and hostess at Andy’s Bar and Grill for over 10 years. In the late 1990s, she moved to Napoleon, IN and was co-owner and operator of Napoleons Tavern for several years. In 2014, she moved to Dry Branch, GA where she co-owned and operated the Front Porch Restaurant for several years before moving back to Eastman. She worked for many years at Bob McDaniel’s Veterinary Clinic in Eastman and enjoyed spending time taking care of her canine companion, Susie-Q. Sara loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She was an avid animal lover and took care of many in her time. She also enjoyed trips to the beach and spending as much time with her family as possible. She was the daughter of the late Betty Horne McCranie and J.W. Evans and was preceded in death by her Sister, Joyce Wimberly and Brother, Ricky Evans.

 She is survived by her Husband – Rawn Peacock of Eastman; Step-Daughters – Nikki Goodwin (Ray NeeSmith) of Eastman and Shelly Boehner of Cincinnati, OH; Grandchildren – Ethan Goodwin, Okela NeeSmith, Kloe NeeSmith, T.J. NeeSmith, and Madison Boehner; Sisters – Donna Wimberly (Kenny) of Macon, Cindy Bozeman (Bobby) of Jessup, and Patricia Reed (Danny) of Montezuma; Brother – Jack Evans (Ramona) of Eastman; Brother-in-law – Randy Wimberly; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Jack and Ramona Evans, 735 Congo Lane, Apt. 801, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Wednesday, May 17.
