MR. SANDY L. COLEMAN, age 84, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026, in At Home Senior Living in Cochran, GA.

 Funeral services will be held at 4:00PM, Tuesday, October 6, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Daniel Cook and Rev. Robbie Passmore officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.

 Sandy was born on August 21, 1942, in Dodge County. He was a dedicated member of Cottondale Baptist Church and was a 1960 graduate of Dodge County High School. He was a retired Supervisor of Large Business Telephone Systems for AT&T and later owned and operated Coleman TVRO Service, where he worked as an Electronics Technician and a TV Satellite Sales and Service provider for many years in the 1990s through the early 2000s, selling his business in 2004 and retired to be at home with his wife, Martha Raye. They enjoyed their retirement years together on their farm. Sandy was skilled in electronics repair and helped many people with their equipment through the years. He was a dedicated husband of 65 years and a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with his family, tending to his cattle, and working around his home and shop. His hobbies included painting landscapes and woodworking. In his later years, he and his wife enjoyed spending time in Brunswick, GA in their home away from home. During his time in Brunswick he was a member and worshiped the Lord at Calvary Baptist Church. Sandy had a genuine heart for service and helping others through his skills and his dedication to anybody he met along life’s path.

Sandy was the son of the late Albert P. Coleman and Corine Ussery Coleman and was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Ray and Evelyn Giddens, and brother-in-law, Gene Rogers, Jr.

 He is survived by his Wife – Martha Raye Giddens Coleman of Eastman; Daughter – Andrea Haywood (Ken) of Dublin; Son – Mike Coleman (Gina) of Eastman; Grandchildren – Hannah Morgan (Will), Josh Coleman (Lauryn), Jennie Page (Thomas), and Cole Haywood; Step Grandchildren – Logan Spires (Willie), and Dalton Mullis (Chelsea); Great Grandchildren – Annie Morgan, Norah Morgan, and Gabe Morgan; Step Great Grandchildren – Noelle Spires, Juliet Spires, and Lucas Mullis; Sister – Cherry Rogers of Eastman; 1 Niece and 2 Nephews; Several Cousins and Numerous Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the Coleman residence and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 3:00PM-4:00PM Tuesday, October 6. In addition to flowers, contributions can be made to Gideons International Bible Fund.
