MRS. SANDRA “SANDY” McDANIEL HOWELL, age 68, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday September 21, 2019 at her residence in Eastman, GA.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 23, at Southerland Funeral Chapel in Eastman, with Pastor Tyler Kirkley, Rev. Tony Howell, and Rev. Emory Howell officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Eastman.

 Mrs. Howell was born in Hawkinsville, GA and was of the Christian faith. She was a retired dialysis technician for Fresenius Medical Care, working over 15 years, and a former healthcare aid for Heart of Georgia Nursing Home for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing card games with her special friends, Facebook and computer games, crocheting, and especially making blankets for her grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly and was proud of her son’s service to our country in the U.S. Air Force. Sandy was the daughter of the late Grace Mullis McDaniel and Johnnie McDaniel and was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Sherman Howell, daughter, Lacey Howell Knight, sister, Mary M. Holder, brother, Ed McDaniel.

 Survivors: 1 Daughter – Kelli Howell Peacock (Sean) of Eastman; 1 Son – Craig Howell (Stephanie) of Travis AFB, CA; 1 Son-in-Law – Stevie Knight (Lisa) of Eastman; 1 Sister – Dorothy M. Howell of Eastman; 8 Grandchildren – Brett Mullis, Haley Mullis, Lacey Howell, Kaden Peacock, Emma Howell, Ethan Matthews, Claire Peacock and Holly Peacock; 3 Sisters-in-law – Betty McDaniel, Lois Kennedy, and Myrtle Howell; Brother-in-law – Charles Howell; Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 The family may be contacted at the Howell residence, 50 Beechwood Drive Eastman, GA 31023 and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM Monday, September 23.
