MRS. SANDRA “SANDI” HARDIMAN STEVENSON GRIMES, age 70, of Eastman, GA, went to her Heavenly home Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

 The memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 9, at Chauncey City Cemetery, with Reverend James Hammock and Reverend Ronny Moore officiating. The family requests friends and family wear masks and observe social distancing protocols.

 Sandi was a lifelong resident of Dodge County and a graduate of Dodge County High School. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Eastman. She retired from the Department of Community Affairs where she served for over 36 years. She was a joyful giver and a wonderful caretaker. Sandi was one who always thought of others and made sure those who were sick were taken care of. Her greatest joy was her family. Sandi was so proud of her children and she loved being "Mimi" to her seven grandchildren.

Sandi was the daughter of the late Margaret Hooks Hardiman and James Erwin Hardiman, Sr. and was preceded in death by a Brother, James Erwin “Bimbo” Hardiman, Jr.

 She is survived by her Husband of 30 years – Steven J. Grimes of Eastman; 3 Children – David Stevenson (Stephanie) of Milan, Kristi Stevenson Dix (Tommy) of Rhine, and Kaysi Stevenson Beverly (Scott) of Vidalia; 7 Grandchildren – Patrick Stevenson, Zan Stevenson, Lilly Anna Stevenson, Daniel Dix, Jesse Dix, Ben Beverly, and Max Beverly; Sister – Sheryl Yawn; 3 Brothers – Bill Hardiman (Helen), Mike Hardiman (Susan), and Mark Hardiman (Michelle); Mother-in-law and Father-in-law – Opal and Reverend Roy S. Grimes; Sister-in-law – Stacey Harrell; 2 Brothers-in-law – Wayne Stevenson (Bonnie) and Allen Grimes (Ellen); Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

 Sandi will lie-in-state from 11:00AM-3:00PM Friday, January 8, at Southerland Funeral Chapel.
