MRS. ROSE MARIE WIGGINS BRANTLEY, age 78, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, September 22, 2022, at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, September 24, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.

 Rose Marie was born in Eastman, GA, and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was a 1962 graduate of Dodge County High School and later received a bachelor’s degree in Education. She worked as a Certified Public Accountant and enjoyed a career as a National Recruiter for the Internal Revenue Service for over 20 years. Over the years, she lived in Columbus, Atlanta, and West Palm Beach, FL, before retiring and returning home to Eastman in 2008. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed reading, working on her computer, and tending her yard and flowers. She was a devout family woman and loved them dearly. Rose Marie was the daughter of the late Grace Shepard Wiggins and James Otto Wiggins, and was preceded in death by her Brothers, Furman Wiggins and Charles Otho Wiggins.

 She is survived by her Husband of 56 years – William “Bill” Brantley of Eastman; 2 Sons – Steve Brantley (Sherine) of Alexandria, VA, and Terry Brantley (Allie) of Buckhead, GA; 5 Grandchildren – Abbey Brantley, Grace Brantley, Kate Brantley, Myrabelle Brantley, and Blake Brantley; Brother – Ray Wiggins of Eastman; Sister-in-law – Patsy Wiggins of Eastman; 4 Nephews and Nieces – Jonesy Wiggins, Krista Wiggins, Jason Wiggins, and Kelly Wiggins White (Ron); Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the Brantley residence, 398 Rocky Springs Rd., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 10:00AM-11:00AM Saturday, September 24.
