MR. JON RONALD “RONNIE” COLEY, age 70, of Macon, GA, died Sunday, January 14, 2024, in Macon, GA.

 A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, January 20, at Orphans Cemetery, with Pastor Rick Hamilton officiating.

 Ronnie was born in Hawkinsville, GA and raised in Eastman, GA. He was a graduate of Dodge County High School and proudly served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he worked as a helicopter mechanic for the Jacksonville NAS. After completing his military service, he graduated from Athens Area Technical School with his certification in electronics and worked for Jackson EMC for a few years before going to work for Robins AFB, where he retired after thirty plus years of service as an aircraft mechanic. Ronnie was an avid hunter and sports fan, and enjoyed fishing, riding horses and spending time with his wife and beloved animals. He was preceded in death by his Father, Dewitt Leonard Coley, Sr. and numerous aunts and uncles.

 He is survived by his Loving Wife – Victoria Coley of Macon, GA; Mother – Johnnie Mae Cox of Eastman, GA; Sister – Karen Rudshaugen of Savannah, GA; Brother – Dewitt L. Coley, Jr. of Athens, GA; Mother-in-law – Arja N. Forester of Macon, GA; Sisters-in-law – Adrian Giddens (Timmy) of Milledgeville, GA and Lauren Austin of Carrollton, GA; Nieces and Nephews – April Hutchins (Kyle), Witt Coley (Victoria), Kate Giddens (Tanner Brown), Emily Giddens (David Sanders), and Marcy Wimbush (Raymond); Great Nephews – Liam, Cruz, Axel, Kylo, and Roan; Beloved Pets – Pepper, Bullet, Silver, Diamond, and Buckwheat; Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the Coley residence, 5000 Hartley Bridge, Rd., Macon, GA 31216, and will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 5:00PM-7:00PM Friday, January 19. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Liberty Church Macon, 6511 Houston Rd., Macon, GA 31216 or Orphans Cemetery Fund, 2023 Cochran Hwy., Eastman, GA 31023.
