MR. ROBERT GRAYSON MOORE, SR., age 74, of Moultrie, GA, died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his residence.

MR. ROBERT GRAYSON MOORE, SR., age 74, of Moultrie, GA, died Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his residence.

 A family private graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, January 11, at Rentz City Cemetery, in Rentz, GA, with Rev. Sterling Averett officiating.

 Mr. Moore was born in Dublin, GA and raised in Eastman, of the Baptist Faith, a 1965 graduate of Dodge County High School, and attended Georgia Military College in Milledgeville. He served for 6 years in the Georgia National Guard, was a former employee for C & J Manufacturing for several years during the 1970s before moving to Moultrie in 1977 where he went to work as a textile manager for Riverside Manufacturing in Moultrie and retired in 2010 after 33 years of faithful service. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, papa, brother, and uncle who was affectionately known as “Bubba” or “Big G” to his family and friends. He enjoyed playing golf, mowing grass, grilling ribs, and watching western movies, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and cheering on his beloved Georgia Bulldogs football team. You would not find a more dedicated fan than him. Grayson was the son of the late Jacqueline Davidson Moore and Frances Grayson Moore and was preceded in death by his Brother-in-law, Mike Beck, Niece, Wendy Williamson, and Nephew, Darrin Peacock.

 He is survived by his Wife of 52 years – Patti Williamson Moore of Moultrie; Daughter – Paige Moore Reber (Randy) of Viroqua, WI; Son – Robbie Moore (Shana) of Moultrie, GA;

8 Grandchildren – Tyler Thompson, Alexis Reber, Sadie Reber, Tara Reber, Corey Moore, Hayle Moore, Shelbi Johnson, and Maci Wilkes; Sister – Jennie B. Cannon (Waymon) of Cochran, GA; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Linda Gayle Peacock (Johnny) and Mike Williamson (Nancy), both of Eastman, GA; Nieces and Nephews – Jason Beck (Amber), Jennifer Beck Anderson (Marty), Wes Williamson (Brandi), and Marcie Peacock; Several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.
