MR. WILLIAM ROBBIE BEDSOLE, SR., age 56, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at his residence.
MR. WILLIAM ROBBIE BEDSOLE, SR., age 56, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be held at 5:00PM Friday, August 21, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Al Acosta officiating.
Robbie was born in McRae, GA on October 27, 1969, to Enone Rogers and the late Stacy Bedsole. He was of the Baptist Faith, a lifelong resident of Dodge County, and was a member of the Dodge County High School class of 1987. He was a master HVAC technician who worked for several companies over the years, including Massingill Expert Services, before venturing out on his own. He also spent many years working in construction with Joel Hanson and held various positions with Shorty Bearden and Dempsey Electric. Robbie was a friend to many, loved watching old westerns, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who all called him “Papa”.
In addition to his father, Robbie was preceded in death by a daughter, Karolyne Elizabeth Bedsole.
He is survived by his Daughter – Jessica “Jessi” Bedsole Cranford (Joshua) of Eastman; Son – William Robbie “Will” Bedsole, Jr. of Eastman; Grandchildren – Josalyne Cranford, Jasper Cranford, Shaylie Spires, and Braylee Spires; Mother – Jerry Enone Rogers Vaughn of Eastman; Step-Son – Brandon Dykes (Tiffani) of Atlanta; Step-Daughter – Vyktoria Dykes of Cochran; Brother – Jim Rogers of Eastman; Sisters – Peggy Rogers Wilson of Eastman and Stacy Ann Meeler (Tom) of Cochran; Nieces and Nephews – Michael Knight, Jada K. Jones (Ben), Kaylyn Rogers, Dustin Rozier, and Noah Meeler (Katelynn); Step-Father – Homer Vaughn of Eastman; Aunt and Uncle – Dianne Gay of Cadwell and Bobby Garrett of Georgetown, GA; Great-Aunt – Mervin Skipper of Cochran; Several cousins and numerous friends.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Jessi Bedsole Cranford and Joshua Cranford, 930 Old River Rd., Eastman, GA 31023, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 4:00PM-5:00PM Friday, August 21. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to the Gideons International Bible Fund or Faithful Hearts Animal Shelter.
