A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
Ray was born in Elizabeth City, SC on February 4, 1973, and soon after moved to Eastman with his family. He was of the Christian Faith, a 1992 graduate of Dodge County High School, and later graduated from Heart of Georgia Technical College with his machine shop certification. He worked for several years for Robins AFB, and later for Beasley Lumber Company in Hazlehurst, GA for three years. Ray loved his work and working in the machine shop. He also loved working on and riding his motorcycle, being outdoors, and spending time with his mother, children, sister, and friends. Ray was preceded in death by his Father, Billy Ray White, Maternal Grandparents, Effie and Roger Floyd, and Paternal Grandparents, Mary and Marshall White, Jr.
He is survived by his Daughters – Sophia Turner and Graci White, both of Eastman, GA; Sons – Taylor White (Jessie), Cameron White, and Gavin Cook, all of Eastman, GA; Mother – Betty Floyd White of Eastman, GA; Sister – Tara White of Eastman, GA; Aunts and Uncles – Marie Carr (Russell), Deborah Williams (Edward), Virginia Sue Owens (David Hickman), all of Eastman, GA, and Esther Southerland (Thomas) of Atlanta, GA; Numerous cousins and friends.
The family may be contacted at the Betty White residence, 2515 Rozar Goolsby Rd., Eastman, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions to the American Cancer Society, in honor of Ray.
