RANDY DAVID WILLIAMS, age 68, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Atrium Navicent Health surrounded by his beloved family.
RANDY DAVID WILLIAMS, age 68, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Atrium Navicent Health surrounded by his beloved family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, August 8, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Lewis Miller, Rev. Larry Mullis, and Rev. Mike Grenade officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Randy was born in Eastman, GA in 1955 to the late Betty Jean Selph Williams and James D. “J.D.” Williams. He was a dedicated charter member and deacon of Grace Baptist Church, a 1973 graduate of Dodge County High School, and later attended Middle Georgia College before graduating from Mercer University. He worked for over 30 years at Robins AFB as a supervisor and spent many years traveling the southeast with South Georgia Quartet Gospel Group praising and worshiping the Lord with his amazing talent as a baritone singer for 38 years. He served on the Dodge County Baptist Association Administrative Team for several years. Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother who was a devout Christian man, loved his family dearly, and strived every day to be a great provider for them. He enjoyed helping with his church, participating in church activities, going on trips with his beloved wife and their friends, taking trips to the mountains, and especially spending time with all his wonderful and talented granddaughters.
He is survived by his Loving and Dedicated Wife of 49 years – Patricia Jump Williams of Eastman, GA; 2 Daughters – Dana W. Stewart (David) of Cumming, GA and Ashley W. Dykes (Brad Robinson) of Eastman, GA; 6 Granddaughters – Ivy Morgan (Beck), Addison Stewart, Bailey Stewart, Haylee Dykes, Caydin Stewart, and Brenna Dykes; Great-Granddaughter – Ember Morgan; Great-Grandson due in October – Bryer Morgan; Sister – Robin W. Brown (Gary) of Eastman, GA; Mother-in-law – Mary Ann Maddox Jump of Eastman, GA; Sister-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Kathy J. Mullis (Glenn) and Chris Burch, both of Eastman, GA; Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
The family may be contacted at the Williams residence, 403 Dublin Hwy., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends at Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Thursday, August 8.
