JAMES RANDALL “RANDY” KNIGHT, age 65, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, November 22, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Royce McClelland and Rev. Jack Lee officiating, with interment in Plainfield Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Randy was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Ocmulgee Baptist Church, a 1972 graduate of Dodge County High School, and was a retired special projects coordinator for the City of Eastman for over 8 years. He was a former Winn Dixie employee, a former Goodyear store manager, and worked as a saw deliveryman at Quality Saw Works for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, was a member of Dodge County Golf Club, an avid golfer, and a former cattle farmer. Randy was son of the late Agnes Register Knight-Giddens and Hilton Knight, widower of Linda Caroll Smith Knight, and was preceded in death by a Brother, Ralph Knight.

 Survivors: Step-Daughter – Kelli Marie Wilson (Kelly) of Cochran; Step-Son – Rusty Mullis of Cochran; 2 Grandchildren – Katie Curry and Luke Wilson both of Cochran; Brother – Ray Knight (Terry) of Yucaipa, CA; Brother-in-Law – Tim Smith (Kaye) of Cochran; Sister-in-Law – Hilda Harris Knight of Warner Robins; Several Nieces and Nephews including, Stevie Knight (Lisa), Tobbie Knight Burkhalter (Michael), Jackie Knight Stiles (Lucas), Tammy Knight Sheffield (Sean), and Kim Auerback (Keith); Aunts and Uncles – Grace Yancey, Billy Knight, Jimmy Knight, and Bobby Knight.

 The family may be contacted at the Knight residence, 1554 Ocmulgee Church Rd., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, November 21. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to Gideons International Bible Fund.
