MR. RANDY ALLEN JOHNSON, age 72, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, December 7, 2019 at his residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, December 10, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Jerry Peele and Rev. Joe Daniel officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery.

 Randy was born in Akron, OH and lived in Ohio with his grandparents on their farm until he moved to Hawkinsville and then to Sandy Springs. He was a 1965 graduate of Sandy Springs High School, where he was an accomplished linebacker for the Varsity football team. After high school he received a scholarship to play football at North Alabama University. Randy was a car salesman like his father. His first car lot was in Houston, TX before returning to Marietta, GA to work and co-own and operate Dixie Auto Sales. He became interested in antiques and operated several different antique businesses before moving to Eastman in 1996. Upon arriving in Dodge County, Randy and his father rekindled their love for horses and developed Rocky Springs Stables Horse Farm as well as continuing antiquing. He was an avid football and baseball fan, enjoyed playing golf, and was a member and usher for many years at Eastman First Baptist Church. Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Lynette Harrell Johnson and Allen D. “Al” Johnson.

 Survivors: Son and Daughter-in-Law – Justin A. Johnson and Selena Harris Johnson of Adairsville, GA; 4 Grandchildren – Gillian Johnson, Ayden Johnson both of Adairsville, Spencer Jones (Celeste) of Cedartown, and Jackson Jones (Haley) of Rome; 3 Great-Grandchildren – Presley Jones, Waverly Jones, and Ellie Jones; Sister – Carolee MaCak of Dallas, TX; Several Cousins including – Derek Parkerson, Lisa Dixon, Tracy Montague, Jennifer Childers, and Jimmy Evans.

 The family may be contacted at the Johnson residence, 1215 Wood Valley Drive, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Tuesday, December 10.
