MR. RANDY DEWITT FAIRCLOTH, SR., age 65, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, November 17, at Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev. Emory Howell officiating.
Randy was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, a member of Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery, a 1973 graduate of Dodge County High School, and a graduate of Ben Hill Irwin Technical College. He was a former employee of Robins AFB for over 7 years, bought and sold cars with his father at Faircloth’s Auto for several years, and was owner and operator of 3-D Pine Straw for many years. He loved building things, tinkering, grilling, bar-b-quing, riding dirt roads, antique cars and trucks, and watching Atlanta Braves baseball. He was an avid family man, who would give anyone the shirt off his back to help. Randy was preceded in death by his Father, Rev. Howard Dewitt Faircloth.
He is survived by his Wife – Louise Burnham Faircloth of Eastman; 3 Children – Brandi Faircloth Smith of Eastman, Randy Faircloth, Jr. (Kayla) of Cobbtown, GA, and Amanda Faircloth of Eastman; 3 Grandchildren – Jalyn Smith of Eastman, Hunter Faircloth, and Toby Faircloth both of Cobbtown, GA; Mother – Odelle Pearl Smith Faircloth of Eastman; Sister – Linda Gail Gully of Washington, GA; Brother – Phil Faircloth (Lynne) of Milledgeville; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Randy will lie-in-state from 1:00PM-4:00PM Monday, November 16, at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to either the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, or Bay Springs Freewill Baptist Church, 1302 Bay Springs Church Rd, Eastman, GA 31023.
