MRS. PAULINE PARKER McCRANIE, age 88, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, June 30, 2023, at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, July 8, in Sweet Home Baptist Church, with Mr. Bobby Joe Ryals officiating, with interment in Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Mrs. McCranie was born in 1935 in Eastman, GA, and was a dedicated member of Sweet Home Baptist Church in Chauncey. She married James E. McCranie in the early 1950s and they moved to Jacksonville, FL. She was a homemaker and worked in the office of her husband’s glass shop business. Years later they moved back to Dodge County, where they lived for the rest of their life. Mrs. McCranie was a loving mother and a dedicated wife who enjoyed sewing, baking cakes, and she even taught classes on cake decoration. She enjoyed many trips including vacations with her siblings, family get-togethers and reunions. Pauline was the daughter of the late Alta Mae Harrell Parker and J.C. Parker and was preceded in death by her Husband, James E. McCranie, and 5 Siblings, Lila Caldwell, Faye Alderman, Marie Lazoda, Linda Addison, and Clayton Parker.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Jane McCranie Begley of Tipp City, OH; 2 Sons – Larry McCranie (Sherrie) of Eastman and Russell W. McCranie (Cindy) of Fort Valley, GA; 3 Grandchildren – Rachel Begley Marker (Aaron) of Tipp City, OH, Matthew Begley (Kari) of Osgood, OH, and Diana McCranie Hardeman (Terry) of Rhine; 2 Great-Grandchildren – Madison Underwood and Johnny Begley; Sister – Joan Stephens of New York; Brother – Bill Parker (Ann) of Polkville, NC; Brother- In Law- Joe Lazoda of Orlando, Fl; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family will receive friends in Sweet Home Baptist Church in Chauncey, GA, from 10:00AM-11:00AM Saturday, July 8, and may be contacted at the McCranie residence, 66 Roddy Burnham Rd., Eastman, GA, 31023.
