MRS. NELL WALKER ANDERSON, age 87, or Rhine, GA, died Thursday, October 17, 2019 at her residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, October 20, at Hopewell Baptist Church, with Rev. Daniel Cook, Rev. Roswell Chapman, and Mr. Bobby Ryals officiating, with interment in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Mrs. Anderson was a native of Rhine, a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, a 1949 graduate of Rhine High School, and retired school nutrition manager for the Gwinett County School System for over 27 years. She left Rhine in 1964, moved to Lilburn in 1966, and in 2005 she left Lilburn to move back home to Rhine. She was a dedicated wife for over 57 years, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a great cook and seamstress. Nell was a tireless worker, who only thought about others. She led an exemplary life for her family to follow. She loved the Lord and was a blessing to all who knew her. Nell was daughter of the late Mittie Willcox Walker Roberson and Zeb Walker, widow of William H. “Dub” Anderson, and was preceded in death by a Sister, Mary Anderson, and Brother, Billy Walker.

 Survivors: 3 Daughters – Sue Schuur of Rhine, Pam Balenger (Hut) of Lula, GA, and Becky Landers (Tim) of Gainesville, GA; 3 Sons – Larry Anderson (Gail) of Conley, GA, Ronnie Anderson (Jane) of Gibson, GA, and Jimmy Anderson (Lisa) of Lawrenceville, GA; 10 Grandchildren – Brooke Balenger, Caroline Landers, Will Landers, Zeb Anderson (Tracy), Gwen Anderson, Kaden Jenkins, Cody Anderson (Haley), Naomi McRae (Hunter), Lacy Coffee (Kesh), and Angel Balenger; Several Great-Grandchildren; 3 Sisters – Maggie Pittman of Eastman, Jean Coody of Kathleen, and Faye Williams of Suwanee; Brother-in-Law – Roy Anderson (Sheila) of Rhine; Sister-in-Law – Girlie Anderson of McRae; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Anderson residence, 118 Hopewell Church Rd., Rhine, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Saturday, October 19. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Hopewell Baptist Church.
