MRS. MYRA GRACE HILL HUGGINS, age 89, of St. Simons Island, GA formerly of Eastman, GA, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at Hospice of Goldens Isles in Brunswick, GA.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, December 28, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Jerry Peele officiating, with interment in Orphans Cemetery.

 Myra was born August 29, 1930 in Tifton, GA to the late William Charles and Grace Chaffin Hill. She was a homemaker, a former employee at the Dodge County Courthouse, and a former Bellsouth telephone operator. Myra enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, hobby painting, sewing, cooking, and being with family and friends. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Eastman and of the Esther Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Huggins and step-grandson, Jeremy White. She was the last living sibling of four sisters, Betty Green, Becky Stone, Mary Short, Ruth Ciraldo and seven brothers, Fred Hill, Ben Hill, Owen Hill, Reedy Hill, Hazel Hill, Elbert Hill, and Bill Hill.

 Mrs. Huggins is survived by one son, Chip Mann (Shelli), both of Eastman, daughter, Cindy Hendley (Clark), both of St. Simons Island, four grandchildren, Molli Mann, Graci Mann both of Eastman, Robin Hendley (Stephen Wright) of Brunswick, and Scott Hendley of St. Simons, great-grandchildren, Aubrey Grace Wright of Brunswick and Brayden Wright of Cordele, step-son, Calvin Huggins, Jr. (Kathy) of Lizella, two step-daughters, Carolyn Huggins Terry (Craig) of The Villages, FL and Maryann Huggins Fincher of Warner Robins, 4 step-granddaughters and 6 step-grandsons, numerous nieces and nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Chip and Shelli Mann, 5221 Oak Street, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Saturday, December 28.
