MR. CLAYTON MORRIS HALL, age 88, of Eastman, GA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at At Home Senior Living in Cochran, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, January 31, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Mike Grenade officiating, with a private family interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Morris was born in Enigma, GA on September 22, 1937, to the late Ruby Evelyn Bethune Hall and Robert L. “Whipple” Hall. He worked at Robins AFB and was co-owner and co-operator of Hall’s Superette in Eastman for many years. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, hunting, and farming. In addition to his parents, Morris was preceded in death by his Brothers, Robert Eugene “Gene” Hall and Charles Earnest Hall.
He is survived by his Wife – Sylvia Johnson Hall of Eastman; Son – Clay Hall (Carol) of Eastman; Daughter – Tamra Holt (Webster) of Kathleen; Grandson – Caleb Holt.
The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Saturday, January 31. In lieu of food and flowers, the family asks that contributions be given to the Christian Life Center, 307 King Street, Eastman, GA or Georgia Hospice Care, 1111 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, GA 31021.
The family would like to extend their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to long-term caregiver, Wanda Tripp, for the loving care she generously gave to Mr. Morris.
