MORGAN COLE SHEFFIELD, age 23, of Eastman, GA, died Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM Sunday, July 7, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Chuck Yzenski and Rev. Todd Shearin officiating, with interment in Lovely Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Morgan was born in Hawkinsville, a member of Lovely Grove Baptist Church, a 2014 graduate of Dodge County High School, and a log truck driver for Sheffield Trucking. He was a dirt track racecar driver for MSR Racing. Since age 5 he enjoyed racing cars, dirt bikes, and go-carts. Racing was his life, along with spending time with his family and friends. Morgan was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Ted Stuckey, Paternal Grandfather, James Royce Sheffield, Step-Grandparents, Billy Cape and Jean Joiner.

 Survivors: Mother – April Stuckey Moore (Kelly) of Hawkinsville; Father – Danny Sheffield (Denise) of Eastman; Sister – Danielle Sheffield Elliott (Dustin) of Pine Mountain; 4 Step-Sisters – Marissa Moore (Caleb), Alexis Moore both of Warner Robins, Barbie Piper Pearce (Blake) and Brooke Thomas (Dustin) both of Eastman; 2 Step-Brothers – Colton Moore of Warner Robins and Buddy Piper (Devon) of Eastman; Niece and Nephew – Tenley James Elliott and Trebor Royce Elliott, both of Pine Mountian; Maternal Grandmother – Connie Stuckey Seacrist (Billy) of Eastman; Paternal Grandmother – Shirley Purvis Sheffield of Eastman; Maternal Great-Grandmother – Harriett Lee Stuckey of Rhine; Step-Grandparents – Ronny Moore (Nell) of Mt. Vernon, Hazel Cape of Hawkinsville and Linder Joiner of Eastman; Aunts and Uncles – Ginger Stuckey Watkins (Daniel) of Perry and Sandy Stuckey Hardy (Jeremy Bland) of Eastman; Step-Aunts – Nichole Seacrist of Lilburn and Katie Farley (Henry) of Dublin; Companion – Logan Taylor of Eastman; First Cousins – Georgia Hardy, Ted Hardy, Johna Watkins, Laney Watkins, Seth Farley and Scarlett Farley; Numerous Great-Aunts, Great-Uncles and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Shirley Sheffield, 1127 Soperton Hwy., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Saturday, July 6.
