MRS. MILDRED BERNICE GRAHAM MOORE, age 91, of Chauncey, GA, died Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman.

MRS. MILDRED BERNICE GRAHAM MOORE, age 91, of Chauncey, GA, died Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman.

 Funeral services will be held at 3:30PM Friday, March 6, in Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Robbie Jones and Mr. Wendell Graham officiating, with interment in Chauncey City Cemetery.

 Mrs. Moore was a lifelong resident of Chauncey, a 1946 graduate of Chauncey High School, and was of the Christian Faith. She was a bookkeeper for over 40 years for the family business, Moore Distributing Company. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, animals, feeding birds and birdwatching, Southern Gospel Quartet music, and cooking for and taking care of her family. Mildred was daughter of the late Thomas L. Graham and Pearlie Peacock Graham. She was preceded in death by her Husband, W. Locke Moore, Grandson, Noah Bell, and 10 Siblings, Eudell Shipwash, Arlene Susemiehl, Joe Graham, Leonard Graham, Thomas “Bunk” Graham, Lester Graham, Johnny Graham, Donald “Chicken” Graham, Ernest Graham, and an Infant Sister, Myrtle Graham.

 Survivors: Son – Dan Moore (Judy) of Chauncey; 3 Daughters – Pamela Moore (Ken Harris) of Mableton, Linda Moore Bell (Dr. Steven) of Mableton, and Melissa Moore of Chauncey; 8 Grandchildren – Simon Bell (Shellie), Bethany Bell, Benjamin Bell (Katie), Nathan Moore, Zack Moore (Jennifer), Kara Moore (Samuel Hagerman), Kathy McCaffrey (Adam), and John Harris; Several Great Grandchildren; 5 Sisters-in-law – Montine Wright of Helena, Judy Melvin of Dudley, Pearl Graham of Winder, Rebena Graham of Arkansas, and Bessie Graham of Cochran; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:30PM Friday, March 6. In addition to flowers contributions may be made to Faithful Hearts Animal Shelter, 77 Industrial Blvd., Eastman, GA 31023.
