MR. MICHAEL LEE COYLE, age 62, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Memorial Health University Hospital in Savannah, GA with his family by his side.
MR. MICHAEL LEE COYLE, age 62, of Eastman, GA, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Memorial Health University Hospital in Savannah, GA with his family by his side.
Michael was born May 20, 1960 in Staten Island, NY to Walter Lee Coyle and Ivelyn Harrell Coyle. He attended Southwest High School in Macon, GA before moving back to New York City at the age of 18. Michael joined the Carpenters Local Union 17 (now Local Union 157), working over 30 years as a carpenter and, later, a foreman. During those years and after, he demonstrated his love of building and skilled craftsmanship through purposeful home projects as well. Michael had a passion for animals and enjoyed fishing, cooking, and current events.
Michael was preceded in death by his son Sean Patrick Coyle, father Walter Lee Coyle, and grandparents, George and Grace Harrell and Walter and Rita Coyle.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son Robert Coyle of New York, daughters Krista Coyle and Danielle Coyle of New York, former wife Eileen Murray Coyle of New York, mother Ivelyn Harrell Coyle of Eastman, sisters Katherine Coyle of Eastman and Barbara Coyle of Fitzgerald, and many nieces and nephews, including Ashley Coyle-Caton of Fitzgerald.
A Celebration of Life service will be held in New York in Spring 2023.
