MS. MARY PEARL HARRELL, age 75, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Regency Hospital in Macon, GA.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, April 28, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Buddy NeSmith officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.

 Mary Pearl was a lifelong resident of Eastman, a member of Eastman First United Methodist Church, a graduate of Dodge County High School, a graduate of Middle Georgia College, and a graduate of Georgia Southern College with a bachelor’s degree in Biology. She later returned to Middle Georgia College and studied accounting and later went to work in Richmond Hill in the Fishing and Game Division as a biologist for several years. She also worked as a meat and egg inspector in grocery stores for several years. Mary Pearl was a landowner and farmer with her brother and enjoyed working and managing the Harrell family farm. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Hunt Harrell and Robert Bartlett Harrell.

 She is survived by her Sister – Maribeth Harrell Nixon of Milledgeville; Brother – Bill Harrell (Linda) of Yulee, FL; First Cousins – Max Harrell (Carol) of Athens, Clifton Harrell, Dan Harrell (Patti), Cynthia Taylor, all of Eastman, Rev. Buddy NeSmith of North Carolina, Elizabeth McKey (Dwight) of Gainesville, FL, and Marie Fletcher (Keith) of Nahunta, GA; Several Extended Family Members and Numerous Friends.

 The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 1:00PM-2:00PM Thursday, April 28. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to the Eastman First United Methodist Church, 5324 Anson Ave, P. O. Box 129 Eastman, GA 31023.
