MRS. MARY FRANCES PURVIS WILLIAMS, age 80, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, June 24, 2021, at her residence.

 Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, June 26, at Bowen Cemetery, with Rev. Daniel Williams and Rev. Isaac Thomas officiating.

 Mrs. Williams was born in Vienna, GA, and lived in Dooly County during her formative years. After school she married and began her family as a dedicated Pastor’s wife and member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Lyons. She and her husband served the Lord through ministry at several churches through the years before moving back to Eastman in the early 1990s. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers. She was the daughter of the late Jessie Blackman Purvis and Mary Ellen Wiggins Purvis and was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Rev. Larry E. Williams, 3 siblings, Thomas M. Purvis, Bobby R. Purvis, Ruth Purvis Ryder and a great granddaughter, Maddison Moulder.  

 She is survived by her Son – Durward Williams (Janette) of Eastman; Daughter – Phoebe Williams Mullinax of Winder; 5 Grandchildren – Jaida L. Moulder (Bryan) of Winder, Rev. Daniel Williams (Kristian) of Warner Robins, Anna Williams Shirley (Ryan) of Eastman, Natalie Kinard of Winder, and Hiliary K. Jantz of Topeka, KS; 13 Great-Grandchildren – Parker Moulder, Landon Moulder, Tristan Moulder, Ansley Moulder, Samantha Jean Kinard, Cooper Kinard, Austin Shirley, Jaxon Shirley, Emma Kate Williams, Annabelle Zessin, Owen Jantz, Kyleena Ray, and Levi Ray; Sister – Louise Purvis Bryan of Cordele; Brother – Troy L. Purvis (Debbie) of Pendergrass, GA; Sister-in-law – Dama Purvis of Reno, NV; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the residence of Durward and Janette Williams, 4266 Abbeville Highway, Eastman.
