MR. MARVIN EARL WRIGHT, age 78, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, November 6, 2021, at his residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, November 9, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Lewis Miller and Mr. Jeremy Johnson officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Aubrey Corbitt officiating.

 Marvin Earl was born and raised in Eastman, a 1961 graduate of Dodge County High School, of the Baptist Faith, and a former member of the Georgia National Guard for several years. He worked for over 30 years with the Department of Transportation and Office of Surveys and Aerial Mapping in Atlanta, GA. He loved his work and enjoyed going fishing, hunting, and all sports. Marvin Earl was the son of the late Minnie Joiner Wright and Leroy Wright, and was preceded in death by his Son, Kevin Wright, and Brother, Ralph Wright.

 He is survived by his Loving and Devoted Wife of 54 years – Mary Miller Wright of Eastman; Son – Greg Wright of Eastman; 2 Sisters – Ruby King of Eastman and Lodie Johnson (Franklin) of Hawkinsville; Mother-in-law – Wanda Miller of Eastman; 3 Sisters-in-law – Mickey Wright of Tampa, FL, Martha Miller of Lexington, SC, and Helen Evans (Stan) of Eastman; Nieces – Stacey Crabb (Steve) of Eastman, Julie Peacock of Eastman, and Wendy Coe (Harry) of Tampa, FL; Nephews – Shane Rogers of Cordele, and Jeremy Johnson (Katherine) of Deland, FL; Several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews; Numerous Cousins and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the Wright residence, 1310 5th Avenue, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 12:00PM-1:00PM Tuesday, November 9.
