MRS. LYNDA ANNETTE ARNOLD RUTHERFORD, age 80, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, January 12, 2023, at her residence.

 Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery, with Chaplain Doug Stevens and Mr. Keith Mullis officiating.

 Mrs. Rutherford was born in Charleston, SC, and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Eastman. Lynda lived her childhood years in South Carolina before moving to Eastman with her family and was a graduate of Dodge County High School. She grew up in the flower business working alongside her mother. She developed a passion for becoming a florist in her teenage years and later was the owner and operator of Granny Hazel’s Florist for over forty years. She enjoyed helping the people of the community with their special moments and in their time of grief through her floral designs. She was a dedicated master florist and a loving wife, mother, and a true family woman. Her family was her world, and she would do anything to make sure their needs were met. She was always there to support them with their activities and special moments. She enjoyed drawing, word search puzzles, painting, crafts, and cooking for her family. She especially liked spending time and doing activities with her grandchildren. Lynda was the daughter of the late Hazel Colly Aspinwall and J.B. Arnold and was preceded in death by her Husband of 61 years, Harold Rutherford, Sr., Son, Harold Rutherford, Jr., Sister, Martha Arnold Girard, and Brother, Max Brown.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Marsha Rutherford Williams of Kite; Son – Mike Rutherford (Donna) of Fitzgerald; 4 Grandchildren – Summer McMahon (Nate) of Fayetteville, NC, Brooke Williams Mathis of Kite, Brandi Rutherford (Robert) of Tifton, and John Rutherford (Brett) of Ocilla; 7 Great-Grandchildren – Dawson Clark, Layton McMahon, Landon McMahon, Rep Paulk, Vera Paulk, Annistyn Grace Mathis, and Logan McMahon; Brother – Joey Hobbs of Eastman; Sister-In-Law – Edith R. Jones of Augusta; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Rutherford residence, 771 Coley Rogers Road, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 12:00PM-1:30PM Saturday, January 14, 2023.
