MR. LOWERY KEITH NOLES, SR., age 73, of Eastman, GA, died Monday, September 12, 2022, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday, September 15, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Graton Helms and Rev. Joey Bohannon officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Lowery was born and raised in Dodge County, a graduate of Mark Smith High School in Macon, and a member of Eastman First United Methodist Church. He worked for the Eastman Cotton Mill for several years before later working in HVAC for a few years. Later, he worked for Stuckey Signs and Plastics and worked as a heavy equipment operator and farmer for Lee Moore Farms. He also worked with the Macon Fire Department for several years. Lowery eventually went to work for the State of Georgia Forestry Commission as a forestry ranger until his retirement in 2010. He was a dedicated member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. He was an excellent trapper, loved guns, the outdoors, and was a true woodsman. Lowery was the son of the late Naomi Lowery Zeigler and Oscar Austin Noles. He was preceded in death by his Step-Mother, Doris D. Noles, Step-Father, C. Norman Zeigler, and 2 Brothers, Robert Noles and David Noles.
He is survived by his Wife – Joanne Beck Noles of Eastman; Daughter – Becky N. Wyatt (Brian) of Cadwell; 2 Sons – Lowery Keith Noles, Jr. (Dawn) of Cochran and Bob Noles (Jamie) of Eastman; 5 Grandchildren – Austin Noles of Eastman, Diaana Noles, Rochelle Noles, both of Columbus, GA, Jeremy Wyatt, and Micah Wyatt, both of Cadwell; 3 Sisters – Melody Ellis (David) of Leesburg, GA, Lori Haynes (Mike) of Bonaire, and Brandi Noles of Cochran; 2 Brothers – Reggie Noles (Faye) and Bradley Noles, both of Cochran; 2 Brothers-in-law – Don Beck (Kathy) of Dexter and Ricky Beck (Ginny) of Eastman; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
The family may be contacted at the residence of Bob Noles, 904 Lower Rocky Springs Rd., Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Wednesday, September 14. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice in honor of Lowery.
