MRS. ETTA LOUISE ROSS PARSONS, age 93, of Eastman, GA, died Sunday, December 20, 2020 at her residence.

 Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, December 23, at Woodlawn Cemetery, with Dr. Donnie Sutton officiating.

 Mrs. Louise was born in Eastman, a graduate of Eastman High School, and a dedicated member of Eastman First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Hope Sunday School Class and served as a former Sunday School teacher. After high school, she received her certificate from business school in Atlanta. She was a former employee of Bank of Eastman and Bank of Alma for several years and was a homemaker. She was a dedicated wife of over 60 years, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Louise enjoyed talking to her friends on the telephone, watching T.V., working in her day lily flower beds, crossword puzzles, sewing, cooking, and her sweets. She was the daughter of the late Millie Ann Bush Ross and Augustus Ross, widow of Johnie Parsons, Jr., and was preceded in death by her Siblings, Ruby Ross and Harold Ross.

 She is survived by her Daughter – Rhonda Parsons of Eastman; Son – Robert R. Parsons (Cheryl) of Lothair, GA; 3 Grandchildren – Mallory Peacock of Soperton, Goldia Finch (Trasy) of Cedar Grove, and Rachel Maddox (Eddie) of Adrian; 5 Great-Grandchildren – Berkley Terry, Cameron Maddox, Rileigh Finch, Benton Terry, and Allora Finch; 2 Sisters-in-law – Opal Ross of Warner Robins and Charlene Deen (Marvin) of Alma; Nieces and Nephews – Vicki Davis (Steve), David Ross, Jill Brooks (Kevin), Jan Moore, and Joe Moore; Several Great-Nieces and Great-Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Parsons residence, 5131 Jessup Street, Eastman. Mrs. Parson will lie-in-state from 11:00AM-4:00PM Tuesday, December 22. In addition to flowers, the family request contributions to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering % FBC, 5107 Oak Street, Eastman, GA 31023.
