MRS. MARJORIE LOUISE DUKES BUTTS, age 76, of Vidalia, GA, formerly of Newnan, GA, died Friday, May 1, 2020 at her residence.

 A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM Monday, May 4, at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, with Sister Margaret Arthur officiating.

 Louise was born in Plainfield, spent her formative years in the Chester community, was a graduate of Dodge County High School, and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She later moved to Wrightsville and then Dublin before settling down in Newnan in 1982 where she resided until recently moving to Vidalia. She worked as an office manager and human resources director for several businesses over her 30 year working career and worked as an Avon sales representative for several years. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother who enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching, and spending time with her family and friends. Louise was the daughter of the late Jimmie Clyde Butler Dukes and H.D. “Bud” Dukes and was preceded in death by 3 Siblings, Mary M. Smith, Polly Brown, and Rufus “Buddy” Dukes.

 She is survived by her Husband of 34 years – Billy W. Butts of Vidalia; 2 Daughters – LaWanna Kelly (Ross) of Vidalia and Phyllis Senn of New Orleans, LA; Son – Andy Roland (Mindy) of Eastman; Step-Daughter – Michelle Butts of Eatonton; 3 Step-Sons – Ronald Butts, Rodney Butts both of Eatonton, and Gregg Butts of Gray; 16 Grandchildren – Andrea Roland, Josh Bryant, David Ussery (Tabitha), Tyler Adams, Lason Kelly, Serynn Kelly, Amelia Kelly, Anthony Butts, Megan Butts, Rone Butts, Adrian Butts, Logan Butts, Andrew Butts, Craig Butts, Shawn Farr, and Deanna Brooks (Matthew); Several Great-Grandchildren; Sister – Sue Noles (Roger Mullis) of Chester; Brother – Daniel “Jackie” Dukes (Joyce Dobbs) of Chester; Brother-in-law – Jimmy Lee Brown; Several Nieces and Nephews.
