MRS. MILDRED ELOIS “LOIS” TAYLOR WAHL, age 83, of Chauncey, GA, died Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her residence.

 Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, April 14, at Sweet Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Milan, with Pastor Dahl McDermitt, Jr. officiating.

 Mrs. Wahl was born in Milan and was a member of Sweet Home Bapitst Church. She grew up in Milan and excelled in basketball during her formative years and was a 1955 graduate of Milan High School. She enjoyed a career as a social worker for over 30 years for the Department of Family and Children’s Services. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed fishing and cooking for her family, especially known for her chocolate rolls. She was a very giving person who served others before serving herself. Lois is the daughter of the late Clyde Lawton Taylor and Melcina Durden Taylor and is preceded in death by two brothers, James Ernest Taylor and Raymond Eugene Taylor.

 She is survived by her Husband of 57 years – John Conrad Wahl of Chauncey; 1 Daughter – Wendy Wahl Williams (Morris) of Chauncey; 2 Sons – William C. “Bill” Wahl (Sheri) and Kahn T. Wahl (Michelle), both of Chauncey; 1 Sister – Gail T. Monroe (Ron) of Milan; 8 Grandchildren – Bailey Bryant (Colby), Briley Wahl, Gabe Wahl, Tucker Wahl, Carli Dennis, Connor Dennis, Justin Wahl, and Noah Wahl; 3 Great-Grandchildren – Bo Michael Bryant, Samuel Curtis Bryant, and Matthew Sage Melvin; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Glenda Taylor of Milan, Doris Powell, Rita Molton (Charles), Betty Yawn (Joe), Henry Jack Wahl (Connie), and Jerry Wahl (Shann), all of Chauncey; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Wahl residence, 1511 Chauncey-Rhine Hwy, Chauncey, GA 31011. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to Sweet Home Baptist Church, P.O. Box 65, Chauncey, GA 31011. Serving as pallbearers are Briley Wahl, Gabe Wahl, Connor Dennis, Noah Wahl, and Colby Bryant.
