MRS. ANNIE LOIS PAYNE MULLIS, age 97, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, June 27, 2019 at Dodge County Hospital.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, June 30, at Cottondale Baptist Church, with Rev. Daniel Cook and Rev. Chad Hendley officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.

 Mrs. Mullis was a lifelong resident of Eastman and a member of Cottondale Baptist Church since 1947. She was a retired textile worker for Reeves Brothers, Inc. for 50 years. She was a member of the Dodge County Hospital Pink Ladies since 1991 and a resident of Dogwood Gardens Senior Living. She was daughter of the late Minnie Lee Giddens Payne Boutwell and Ira Payne, widow of Julian Lamar “Buck” Mullis, and was preceded in death by a Son: Dr. Kenneth Lamar Mullis; Sisters: Mae Bowman, Ruby Garrett, Clyde Burden, Irene Byron and Lorene Kendrick; Brothers: Otis Payne and J.B. Payne.

 Survivors: Son – Dean R. Mullis (Martiel) of Laceys Spring, AL; Daughter-in-Law – Linda S. Mullis of Rome; 5 Grandchildren – Michael Mullis (Stacey), Rachel Boyd, Dr. Daniel Mullis (Jennifer), Dr. Sara LeStourgeon (Brian), and James Mullis (Brandi); 9 Great-Grandchildren – Nicholas Mullis, Lucas Mullis, Brynn Mullis, Julian Mullis, Niam LeStourgeon, Caleb LeStourgeon, Peter LeStourgeon, Noah Mullis, and Nathanael Mullis; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Saturday, June 29. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Cottondale Baptist Church, 5930 Leitch Street, Eastman, GA 31023.
