MRS. LINDA FAYE PITTS SAPP, age 76, of Dublin, GA, died Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Bleckley County Memorial Hospital in Cochran, GA.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Monday, October 9, at Orphans Cemetery, with Mr. David Couey officiating.
Linda was born and raised in Eastman, GA, a member of Chauncey Baptist Church, and a 1963 graduate of Dodge County High School. She worked with the Eastman Recreation Department for many years before later moving to Dublin, GA. She and her husband worked side by side for many years at Brookington Apartments in Dublin, where she worked as the office manager. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, fishing in her earlier years, and going on family trips to the beach. Linda was the daughter of the late Velma Jackson Pitts and Oris M. Pitts and was preceded in death by her Husband, Watson Sapp, and 2 Sisters, Annette P. Couey and Betty Jean Sanders.
She is survived by her Daughter – Angie Watkins (Brent) of Eastman, GA; Son – Greg Woodard (Amanda) of Eastman, GA; 6 Grandchildren – Bailey Woodard Bryant (Colby) of Rhine, GA, Brent Lee (Callie) of Gainesville, GA, Blake Studstill (Ashley), Ben Lee (Elizabeth), Brock Woodard (Meredith Hutcheson), and Brodie Woodard (Caroline Scarborough), all of Eastman, GA; 8 Great-Grandchildren – Bo Bryant, Sam Bryant, Luke Bryant, Susannah Studstill, Parker Studstill, Frankie Lynn Lee, Josie Lee, and Carter Lee; Sister – Guynell Williams of McRae; Several Nieces and Nephews.
