MRS. LINDA SUE WILLIAMS PITTMAN, age 67, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, GA.
MRS. LINDA SUE WILLIAMS PITTMAN, age 67, of Eastman, GA, died Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, February 16, at Southerland Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Todd Crosby officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, with Rev. James Dupree officiating.
Linda was born in Eastman, GA on May 24, 1957. She graduated from Dodge County High School in 1975 and was a member of Eastman First Baptist Church. She worked as a seamstress for C & J Shirt Factory for a few years. Afterwards, she worked as an assistant store manager for Friedman Jewelers before working as a commercial project manager for Dodge Heating and Air. She finished her career at Georgia State Prison as an office manager over the medical department.
Linda loved traveling, especially to the mountains and getting in the car to go on excursions with no destination in mind. She loved preparing meals for and spending time with her family. She was immensely creative. She loved going to flea markets and antiquing, working on crafts, arranging flowers, and spending countless hours tending to her flowers. She was a selfless and kind friend to all and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Linda was preceded in death by her Father, Franklin Douglas “Duck” Williams. She is survived by her Husband of 40 years – Tim Pittman of Eastman, GA; Daughter – Tommie Martin (Patrick) of Macon, GA; Sons – James Robert Land of Dublin, GA, Douglas Pittman (Kimberly) Reidsville, NC and Rev. Matthew Pittman (Skye) of Gray, GA; Grandchildren – Emily Martin, Rachel Martin, Logan Watkins, Bella Valdez, Liam Pittman, Blayke Pittman, Sawyer Pittman, and Haddon Pittman; Mother – Annie Mae Peacock Williams of Eastman, GA; Sisters – Bobbi Sheffield (Ben) of Woodstock and Robin Hohman (Chris) of Eastman, GA; Brother – Elton Williams of Eastman, GA; Sister-in-law – Josephine Owens (Norris) of Eastman, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family may be contacted at the Pittman residence, 315 12th Avenue, Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 2:00PM-3:00PM Sunday, February 16.
