MR. LEONARD AGUSTUS MILLER, JR., age 74, of Eastman, GA, died Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his residence.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, August 27, at Lovely Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Larry McNatt, Rev. Chuck Yzenski and Pastor Dahl McDermitt, Jr. officiating, with interment in Lovely Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Mr. Miller was born on September 11, 1944 in Eastman, GA and was a member of Lovely Grove Baptist Church. He was a lineman in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran and was stationed in Germany, Korea and Kansas. He received an Electrical Construction Diploma from Augusta Technical School in 1983 and became a licensed electrician. Leonard enjoyed music, farming and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Mae Day Miller and Leonard A. Miller, Sr., son, Jeff Miller, 2 sisters, Janice M. Wickham and Joyce M. Burch, and brother, Eddie L. Miller.

 Survivors: Wife of 30 years – Charlotte B. Miller of Eastman; 2 Daughters – Tracy L. Hamby of Winterville and Heather B. Gaines (Joe Lee) of Rochelle; 2 Sons – Terry Miller of Oglethorpe and Josh Boutwell of Eastman; 2 Sisters – Tempest Storm of Las Vegas, NV and Gloria Wise (Ken) of Eastman; Brother – Jim Miller of Waycross; 8 Grandchildren – Jeffery Miller, Ashley Miller Hodge (Dylan), Tristen Peacock, Clark Gaines, Ava Gaines, Ashlyn Gaines, Landon Boutwell, and Madie Boutwell; Several Nieces and Nephews.

 The family may be contacted at the Miller residence, 36 Thompson Avenue, Eastman, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 6:00PM-8:00PM Monday, August 26. In addition to flowers the family requests contributions be made to Samaritan’s Purse in care of Lovely Grove Baptist Church, 877 Lovely Grove Church Road, Eastman, GA 31023.
