MR. JULIOUS LEE PETERSON, age 88, of Rhine, GA, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Heart of Georgia Nursing Home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM Friday, September 23, at Old Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery, with Mr. Gary Ryals officiating.
Lee was born and raised in Dodge County, of the Baptist Faith, and a retired building contractor for many years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was the son of the late Susie Studstill Peterson and L.A. Peterson, Sr. and was preceded in death by his Life Companion, Leona Nobles, his Sisters, Naomi P. Holtzclaw and Jo Nichols, and 3 Brothers, James Allen Peterson, L.A. Peterson, Jr., and Gene Peterson.
He is survived by his Daughter – Jessica Nobles of Cochran; Brother – Cecil Peterson of Rhine; Sister-in-law – Florence Peterson of Rhine; Lifelong Friend – Geraldine Nichols (Jeff) of Eastman; Several Nieces and Nephews.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 10:30AM – 11:00AM before the funeral service on Friday, September 23. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Old Daniel Baptist Church, 1144 Old Daniel Rd, Eastman, GA, 31023.
