 MR. LARRY THEO MULLIS, SR., age 81, of Macon, GA, died Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Piedmont Hospital in Macon, GA.

 A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday January 20th, 2024, at Stokes- Southerland Funeral Home.

 Larry was born and raised in Eastman, GA, where he attended Eastman First United Methodist Church. He later moved to Bleckley County, where he attended Bleckley County High School. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy where he proudly served his country for four years. Upon leaving the Navy, he worked as a parts manager for several car dealerships including, Charlie Pike Chevrolet in Warner Robins, GA, Jones Chevrolet, and Bob Butler Ford, both in Eastman, GA, and later worked as a logistics manager for Riverside Ford in Macon, GA for over ten years. He also worked as a sheriff's deputy for the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department for six years. Larry was the son of the late Mildred Aileen Howell Mullis and Willis Mullis and was preceded in death by brother Andy Mullis, Stepmother, Merle Cadwell Mullis, Brother, W.J. Mullis, and Brothers-in-law and Sister-in-law, Ben Hill Newby Sr., Maloy Sheffield, Charles Melvin, and Ann Mullis.

 He is survived by his Loving and Dedicated Wife of 56 years – Madaline Sheffield Mullis of Macon, GA; 2 Sons – Larry Mullis, Jr. (Pam) of Warner Robins, GA and Tony Mullis (Terri) of Gum Branch, GA; 3 Grandchildren – Ryan Fountain (Tiffany), Cody Davis, and Garrett Davis; 2 Great-Grandchildren – Beau Fountain and Blakely Fountain; Sister – Ann Mullis Newby of Cochran, GA; Brother – George Milton Mullis (Brenda) of Savannah, GA; Sisters-in-law and Brothers-in-law – Florrie Jean Melvin, Jewel Dennard (Wayne), Lynn Sheffield, all of Eastman, GA, and Jim Sheffield (Diedra) of Macon; Nieces and Nephews – Renee Wilder, Tammy Tripp (Mel), Christy Lucas (Brian), Mike Sheffield(Angela), Ben Hill Newby, Jr. (April), Melanie Newby Rogers (Tony), Martha Newby Pudleiner (George), George Mullis, Jr., Kenneth Mullis, Paul Mullis, Alton Mullis, Casey Mullis, Corey Mullis; Numerous Cousins, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, and Friends.

 The family may be contacted at the Mullis residence, 3625 Kerry Drive, Macon, GA 31216, and will receive friends in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home from 1:30pm, Saturday January 20th, 2024. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Vilula Baptist Church, Eastman, GA 31023, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
