MR. LARRY JAMES BOUTWELL, age 66, of Eastman, GA, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the Dodge County Hospital.

 A memorial visitation will be held from 3:00PM-5:00PM Thursday, December 31, at Southerland Funeral Chapel. The family request masks be worn and social distancing be practiced during the visitation.

 Larry was a lifelong resident of Eastman, attended Faith Fellowship Ministries in Eastman, was a 1972 graduate of Dodge County High School, and a valued employee for over 30 years at Gilman Paper Company, which is now Mondi Bags USA, LLC. He loved watching and talking about all kinds of sports, was a faithful Georgia Tech fan, and enjoyed NASCAR racing. He was a passionate gardener, especially when it came to taking care of his daylilies. He enjoyed eating and taking his family out to dinner and would never let others pay the bill. Larry was a true family man who loved his family dearly and had a special bond with his oldest granddaughter Lauren. He was the son of the late Lina Smith Boutwell Blankenship and L.J. “Buddy” Boutwell and was preceded in death by his Stepfather, Ralph Blankenship.

 He is survived by the love of his life, his Wife of 44 years – Patricia Barriner Boutwell of Eastman; Daughter – Jennifer Boutwell Law (Matt) of Eastman; Son – Brian Patrick Boutwell of Atlanta; 2 Granddaughters – Lauren Law and Lillie Law; 2 Sisters – Shelby Bell (Charles) of Eastman and Kelly Feltham (James) of Jesup; 4 Nieces – Jill Moore, Terri Moore, Selena Brooks (Tony), and Chelsey Ward; Several Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, and Numerous Cousins and Friends.
