KIP JACKSON BURNHAM, age 33, of Eastman, GA, died Friday, February 23, 2024.

​Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday, February 26, at Southerland Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles Burnam officiating, and interment in Orphans Cemetery.

Kip was a lifelong resident of Dodge County, of the Baptist Faith, and a 2009 graduate of Dodge County High School. He earned his sheet metal certification from Middle Georgia Aviation College in Eastman, GA and worked for several years at Southeastern Paper Company. He later was co-owner and operator with his father of Middle Georgia Fire Safety, which he operated for over eight years. He was a loving father, son, grandson, nephew, and cousin who enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially deer hunting, attending concerts, and was a die-hard patriot who loved his country. Kip had an infectious personality and never met a stranger. He was always willing to go out of his way to help others in need. He was preceded in death by his Father, Russell Jackson “Rusty” Burnham.

​He is survived by his 2 Daughters – Addyson Burnham of Eastman, GA and Emily Burnham of Chattanooga, TN; Mother – Rhonda Collins Burnham of Ellijay, GA; Paternal Grandparents – Jack and Linda Burnham of Eastman, GA; Maternal Grandparents – Sam and Merle Collins of Dexter, GA; Aunts and Uncles – Allen and Lorrie Collins Kemp of Perry, Mike and Samena Collins of Sylacauga, AL, and John Jones and Sherry Wood of Thomasville, GA; Several Cousins including – Dylan Griffis, Taylor Jones, Chris Jones, and Hannah Collins; Great-Aunts and Uncles – Bobby and Harold Haley, Don and Gail Burnam, and Morrell Burnam, Joan and Jimmy Tripp, all of Eastman, and Faye Passmore of Dexter, GA.

​The family may be contacted at the residence of Addyson Burnham and Mandy and Ben Curry, 65 Simmons Rd., Eastman, GA, and will receive friends in Southerland Funeral Chapel from 5:00PM-7:00PM Sunday, February 25.
